Chaser is a science-fiction first-person shooter set in a future where humanity has established colonies beyond Earth. The protagonist awakens aboard a space station without understanding his identity or why armed attackers are trying to kill him. His search for answers develops into a conspiracy involving powerful organizations, criminals, rebels, and events connected to Mars.
The campaign travels through a wide range of locations rather than staying within one futuristic setting. Space facilities, cities, industrial complexes, underground areas, and the surface of Mars provide different backdrops for an extended story built around Chaser’s missing memories.
How the Gameplay Works
Players fight from a first-person perspective using a large selection of firearms modeled after recognizable real-world and futuristic weapons. Missions frequently involve clearing hostile areas, reaching important locations, protecting objectives, or surviving attacks from groups of armed enemies.
Levels combine corridors with considerably larger combat spaces, giving players opportunities to fight at different ranges. Weapons and ammunition are collected during missions, while the story progresses through dialogue and cinematic sequences between major encounters.
