About This Game:
Dark Quest is a turn-based dungeon crawler inspired by classic tabletop fantasy adventures. A powerful sorcerer has established a dungeon beneath the village of Darkwood and filled the surrounding land with orcs, undead creatures, and other servants, leaving a small group of heroes to challenge him.
Players command a party of up to three characters, each bringing different abilities to the expedition. Between dangerous dungeon encounters, the group can return to the village and spend collected gold on weapons, potions, spells, and other preparations.
How the Gameplay Works
Heroes move and act in turns while exploring dungeon rooms and fighting enemies. Positioning and the different strengths of party members determine how effectively the group can handle larger encounters.
The evil sorcerer can interfere through the Skull of Fate and other events, creating unexpected dangers during the journey. Surviving provides gold and equipment that can be used in the village before the party attempts another section of the dungeon.
