Shelter 2 is a nature survival adventure where players control a mother lynx raising a litter of cubs in the wilderness. The game begins around the birth of the young animals and follows the family as they travel through forests, open plains, rivers, and seasonal landscapes.

The cubs depend on their mother for food and protection, turning ordinary hunting and exploration into responsibilities that directly affect whether the family survives. The stylized visual presentation keeps the focus on the rhythms of nature rather than traditional menus or statistics.

How the Gameplay Works
Players roam the environment searching for rabbits, deer, and other prey while using the lynx’s speed and senses to hunt successfully. Food must then be brought back to the cubs before they become too weak.

Predators, rivers, hunger, and long journeys can threaten younger animals. The family gradually moves through changing seasons, and surviving cubs eventually grow toward independence while carrying the family line forward.
