Death in the Water is an underwater survival action game built around one simple threat: great white sharks. Players enter open water with limited protection and attempt to survive increasingly dangerous encounters while hunting the predators before they can attack.
The game keeps its structure intentionally focused. There are no elaborate base-building systems or lengthy quest chains; the tension comes from poor visibility, unrestricted underwater movement, and the knowledge that sharks can approach from almost any direction.
How the Gameplay Works
Players swim through the water in first person while using a spear gun to attack sharks. Because movement occurs in three dimensions, constantly checking above, below, and behind is essential to avoid being surprised.
The objective is to survive and eliminate as many sharks as possible before being killed. Ammunition, aiming, distance, and awareness become increasingly important as the challenge escalates and additional predators pressure the player at the same time.
