Disciples: Liberation is a dark fantasy strategy RPG set in Nevendaar, where the player controls Avyanna as she becomes involved with rival factions, supernatural forces, and a conflict that challenges the established order. The campaign combines exploration, conversations, choices, and turn-based tactical battles.
The world is divided into large regions containing settlements, dungeons, resources, side quests, hidden encounters, and faction story lines. Decisions can alter relationships with groups and companions while changing how certain quests develop.
How the Gameplay Works
Battles take place on hex-based arenas where units move, attack, use abilities, apply status effects, and interact with battlefield positions. Avyanna fights alongside recruited faction units, with frontline and backline placement affecting what some troops can do.
Between battles, players upgrade their castle, recruit stronger units, equip Avyanna, unlock skills, and speak with companions. Faction reputation and choices influence available troops and story outcomes over the long campaign.
