About This Game:
Eragon is a third-person action-adventure game based on the 2006 film and the fantasy world created by Christopher Paolini. Players follow Eragon as he discovers his connection with the dragon Saphira and becomes involved in the resistance against the forces of King Galbatorix.

The campaign combines sword fighting, magical abilities, environmental movement, and occasional dragon-riding sequences. Several levels also allow a second player to join locally and fight alongside the main character.

How the Gameplay Works
Most stages involve moving through linear environments while fighting groups of soldiers and creatures with sword attacks, combinations, blocks, and magical powers. Magic can also interact with certain environmental objects and assist with progression.

Some sections shift to aerial action with Saphira, where enemies and objectives are approached from the air. As the campaign continues, Eragon gains access to additional combat abilities that expand the attacks available during larger encounters.
