TheoTown is a city-building simulation that lets players develop settlements from small communities into large metropolitan regions. Residential, commercial, and industrial zones must be supported by roads, utilities, emergency services, public transport, and other infrastructure.

The game uses detailed pixel graphics while offering a surprisingly broad collection of urban systems. Players can build several connected cities within a region and expand them according to their own layout rather than following a fixed campaign route.

How the Gameplay Works
Players zone land and construct roads so residents and businesses can begin occupying the city. Taxes provide income, which can then be invested into power, water, waste services, schools, police, fire protection, health care, parks, and transportation.
