Gloomwood is a first-person stealth-horror game set in a dark Victorian-inspired city plagued by monsters, hostile guards, and strange occult forces. The game draws heavily from classic immersive sims, giving players open-ended levels, limited resources, and several ways to avoid or eliminate enemies.
Light, sound, doors, windows, and environmental objects all matter. The world is designed to reward observation and planning rather than forcing the player into direct combat.
How the Gameplay Works
Players sneak through streets and buildings, lean around corners, pick locks, carry a physical inventory case, use firearms and melee weapons, and manipulate objects in the environment. Enemies can react to noise and visibility.
