About This Game:
Halo 4 continues Master Chief’s story after the events of Halo 3 as the damaged Forward Unto Dawn reaches the mysterious Forerunner world Requiem. Chief and Cortana soon encounter new enemies, ancient technology, and a threat connected to the long-hidden history of the Forerunners.

The campaign introduces the Prometheans alongside returning Covenant forces while placing greater attention on the relationship between Chief and Cortana. The 2020 PC release forms part of Halo: The Master Chief Collection and brings the original Halo 4 campaign and multiplayer content to Windows.

How the Gameplay Works
Players use familiar UNSC and Covenant firearms alongside a new selection of Forerunner weapons. Rechargeable energy shields remain central to survival, while grenades, melee attacks, mounted weapons, and vehicles provide additional options during larger encounters.

Campaign missions alternate between enclosed Forerunner structures and wider outdoor battles containing vehicles and multiple enemy groups. Multiplayer provides customizable loadouts and traditional Halo match types, while Spartan Ops adds cooperative missions separate from the central campaign.
