About This Game:
HammerHelm combines third-person adventuring with town building and places players in control of a dwarf who believes dwarves should be able to live above ground. After setting out to prove that idea, the player establishes a settlement and attempts to turn it into a safe and prosperous home for other dwarves.
The experience moves regularly between managing the settlement and personally exploring the surrounding world. Town residents can operate shops and provide useful services, while the player ventures into caves, mines, and dangerous areas to complete quests and obtain resources.
How the Gameplay Works
Players construct homes, workshops, shops, and other buildings before inviting dwarves to settle in the town. Residents can be assigned work that produces equipment and services, gradually making the settlement more useful as additional structures become available.
Outside town, the player controls their dwarf directly while exploring, gathering materials, completing quests, and fighting enemies in real-time combat. Weapons, armor, crafting, and character improvements help prepare for increasingly dangerous adventures.
