About This Game:
Kenshi is an open-world sandbox RPG where players begin as ordinary people inside a harsh post-apocalyptic world with no predetermined destiny. There is no requirement to become a hero, allowing the player to survive as a trader, explorer, thief, bounty hunter, warrior, farmer, faction leader, or almost anything else the simulation allows.
The world continues operating independently of the player’s goals and contains cities, factions, roaming armies, bandits, slavers, wildlife, ruins, and dangerous wilderness. Characters can be captured, lose limbs, suffer permanent injuries, or become considerably stronger through surviving difficult experiences.
How the Gameplay Works
Players control one character or an entire squad from a strategic third-person perspective. Skills improve by actually performing actions, meaning fighting develops combat abilities while running, sneaking, carrying weight, crafting, and other activities improve their related statistics.
Squads can establish bases, construct buildings, research technologies, manufacture equipment, farm resources, and defend settlements. Relationships with factions change according to player actions, while the open-ended structure allows personal goals to replace a traditional scripted campaign.
