Lia: Hacking Destiny is a fast action roguelite set in a post-apocalyptic world where machines have taken control. Lia raids industrial facilities filled with robotic opponents and bosses while collecting weapons and upgrades powerful enough to push deeper into the machine-controlled territory.
Its arsenal ranges from precision weapons such as sniper rifles to close-range katanas and explosive bazookas. A deliberately absurd side objective also involves rescuing kittens and gradually building a feline following.
How the Gameplay Works
Players run, jump, fight, and move through industrial areas using whatever weapons and upgrades become available during the current run. Different combinations of dozens of power-ups can turn the same weapon into significantly different builds.
Facilities contain specialized enemies and bosses that demand different movement and combat strategies. Rescuing kittens provides additional progression, while satirical elements such as CAPTCHAs and advertising parody the machine society Lia is fighting against.
