About This Game:
Men of War is a World War II real-time tactics game focused on detailed battlefield control. Campaign missions follow soldiers from different nations through infantry engagements, armored assaults, defensive operations, sabotage missions, and large combined-arms battles.
Individual soldiers carry their own weapons, ammunition, and equipment, while vehicles contain separate crews and vulnerable components. This level of detail allows players to handle encounters more directly than in conventional base-building strategy games.
How the Gameplay Works
Players command infantry squads, tanks, artillery, and other units while using terrain and cover to survive enemy fire. Soldiers can collect weapons and ammunition from fallen units or containers, repair vehicles, operate captured equipment, and throw grenades.
Direct Control mode allows the player to take manual command of an individual soldier or vehicle for precise aiming and movement. Buildings and battlefield objects can be damaged or destroyed, while vehicle armor and component damage make positioning especially important during armored combat.
