Mortal Glory is a turn-based fantasy gladiator management roguelike where players assemble a team of fighters and lead them through deadly arena tournaments. Combatants come from different races and classes, creating unusual combinations of abilities that can dramatically change how a team performs.
A successful run requires more than recruiting the strongest individual warriors. Positioning, equipment, team composition, money, random events, and the risk of permanent death all influence whether a group survives long enough to achieve glory.
How the Gameplay Works
Battles take place on small grid-based arenas where fighters move and use attacks or abilities in turns. Environmental hazards and positioning can be used strategically, allowing enemies to be pushed or trapped in dangerous locations.
Between battles, players hire new gladiators, purchase equipment, manage injuries, and respond to random events. Characters can die permanently, forcing the roster to evolve throughout the campaign, while different races and classes provide reasons to experiment with new team combinations.
