About This Game:
Prince of Persia: Warrior Within continues the Prince’s story several years after he altered his fate by releasing and then controlling the Sands of Time. A supernatural creature known as the Dahaka now hunts him for escaping the death that was originally meant for him. Searching for a way to survive, the Prince travels to the Island of Time in an attempt to prevent the Sands from ever being created.

The sequel introduces a darker atmosphere, heavier combat, a more interconnected environment, and frequent movement between the past and present. Actions performed in one time period can change locations in the other, forming an important part of exploration and puzzle solving.

How the Gameplay Works
The Prince retains his wall runs, jumps, climbing, pole swings, and other acrobatic movement while gaining a much broader combat system. Free-Form Fighting allows attacks to be chained together using primary weapons, secondary weapons, throws, environmental moves, and acrobatic techniques.

Time powers allow players to rewind mistakes, slow events, and perform other abilities using collected Sand. The Island of Time contains areas that can be revisited in different eras, with new paths opening as the story progresses. Dahaka chase sequences require rapid platforming and precise movement while the Prince escapes the nearly unstoppable creature.
