Sir, You Are Being Hunted is a stealth survival game set across procedurally generated British countryside islands where elegant but murderous robots hunt humans for sport. Players wake in this strange landscape and must recover scattered fragments of a mysterious device before the mechanical hunters locate and eliminate them.
Villages, marshes, forests, castles, fields, and other environments are generated differently for each world. Supplies are limited, forcing players to search abandoned buildings for food, weapons, ammunition, traps, and other equipment while continuously listening for nearby robotic patrols.
How the Gameplay Works
Players move carefully through the countryside while watching robot patrol routes and using tall grass, hills, buildings, and darkness to remain unseen. Fighting is possible, but ammunition is limited and gunfire can attract additional enemies, making stealth or distraction safer in many situations.
Device fragments must be located across several islands and returned to standing stones to progress toward escape. Different robot types use their own methods of detection and attack, requiring players to adapt their approach. Food restores vitality, while traps and distractions can be used to manipulate patrols without confronting them directly.
