About This Game:
Space Haven is a colony and spaceship management simulation about leading a group of survivors through a procedurally generated galaxy. Players construct their own vessel tile by tile while maintaining the life-support systems, living areas, industry, storage, defenses, and equipment needed to keep the crew alive far from civilization.
The crew members have individual skills, needs, relationships, and personalities. Travel introduces derelict ships, alien infestations, pirates, traders, factions, prisoners, and resource shortages that can force the colony to change its plans.
How the Gameplay Works
Players design rooms and hull sections before placing oxygen systems, power networks, beds, kitchens, manufacturing equipment, storage, and other facilities. Crew members automatically perform assigned jobs according to priorities and their available skills.
Ships can explore abandoned vessels for salvage, trade with friendly factions, fight hostile spacecraft, board enemy ships, and capture prisoners. Research unlocks improved systems as the fleet travels between star systems searching for resources and a sustainable future.
