About This Game:
Still Life 2 continues Victoria McPherson’s investigation into serial murder while also placing players in the role of journalist Paloma Hernandez, who is abducted by a killer. The story alternates between the investigator hunting for clues and the captive trying to survive long enough to escape.
The two perspectives create different forms of tension. Victoria approaches locations as an FBI agent with forensic equipment, while Paloma has limited resources and must improvise solutions inside the killer’s controlled environment.
How the Gameplay Works
Victoria collects and analyzes evidence using investigative tools, searches rooms, questions characters, and connects forensic clues. Paloma focuses more heavily on environmental puzzles and finding ways around traps or locked areas.
Inventory space is limited, requiring players to decide which objects are worth carrying. Choices and performance during certain situations can influence who survives and contribute to different outcomes by the end of the case.
