About This Game:
The Escapists 2 expands the prison-breaking sandbox with larger facilities, new crafting options, additional activities, more elaborate escape methods, and multiplayer support. Prisons range from traditional correctional facilities to moving trains, offshore structures, and other unusual locations.
Character customization is also greatly expanded, while each prison includes unique escape opportunities in addition to the improvised methods available through normal digging, cutting, disguising, and exploration.
How the Gameplay Works
Players follow prison routines while secretly gathering resources and preparing an escape. Exercise increases physical abilities, jobs provide money, inmates trade useful objects, and crafting transforms ordinary materials into tools and disguises.
The sequel supports cooperative and competitive multiplayer, allowing prisoners to work together on complicated escape plans or race toward freedom independently. Some special escapes require multiple people, encouraging coordinated preparation.
