About This Game:
Townscaper is a relaxing town-building toy that allows colorful settlements to be created without requiring resource management, citizens, objectives, or a traditional campaign. Players simply choose colors and place building blocks onto an irregular grid suspended over the sea.
The game’s procedural building system automatically decides how each placed block should appear. A few clicks can become houses, arches, staircases, courtyards, towers, gardens, bridges, and larger connected structures depending on how neighboring blocks fit together.
How the Gameplay Works
Players click to add blocks and remove them whenever they want to reshape the settlement. Buildings automatically adapt as their surroundings change, so adding another floor or connecting two structures can alter roofs, walls, pathways, arches, and other architectural details.
There are no budgets, production chains, population requirements, or failure conditions. The experience is entirely creative, making it possible to construct small seaside villages, tall vertical towns, sprawling cities, floating structures, or abstract architectural experiments at any pace.
