About This Game:
What The Dub?! is a party game where players replace missing dialogue from old film clips with their own written responses. The resulting lines are read aloud by text-to-speech voices before everyone votes on which improvised dub was the funniest.

The game uses short clips from public-domain movies and other vintage footage, turning serious or strange scenes into setups for player-created jokes. Because the humor comes from the group, each session can produce completely different results.

How the Gameplay Works
A clip plays with a section of dialogue removed. Players use phones, tablets, computers, or other browser-connected devices to type a replacement line before the timer expires.

Each submitted answer is inserted into the scene and spoken aloud while the clip plays again. Players then vote for their favorite response, points are awarded, and the process continues through additional rounds until the final winner is determined.
