About This Game:
Zombie Night Terror is a strategy puzzle game that turns the usual zombie-survival formula around by putting players in control of the outbreak. Instead of protecting humans from the infected, the objective is to spread the virus, create a larger zombie horde, and guide the undead through environments filled with armed survivors, traps, locked routes, and other obstacles.
The black-and-white pixel-art presentation gives the game the appearance of an old horror film, while the puzzle design becomes increasingly complex as humans develop better ways to defend themselves. Zombies are not controlled individually in the traditional sense, so success depends on manipulating the horde and creating the right mutations at the right moment.
How the Gameplay Works
Players infect selected humans to begin an outbreak and then watch newly created zombies move through the level automatically. Special commands and mutations can change their behavior, allowing the horde to break obstacles, jump gaps, climb, explode, or perform other actions needed to reach inaccessible victims.
Each stage introduces objectives and environmental hazards that must be solved like a puzzle. Humans may carry firearms, hide behind defenses, or occupy locations that normal zombies cannot reach. Players often need to sacrifice part of the horde or combine several abilities in sequence to create a path for the remaining infected.
