Zxill: A Legend of Time is a time-attack adventure RPG where an ordinary village boy discovers a magical crystal and becomes responsible for saving a constantly changing world. The adventure combines exploration and fighting with a strict race against time, making speed an important part of progressing successfully.
The world is procedurally generated and can become larger as the player completes important rituals and collects crystals. Falling behind can leave Zxill repeating the struggle instead of advancing into the next stage of the world’s development.
How the Gameplay Works
Players explore generated environments while fighting enemies and searching for the crystals required to complete the current objective. A time limit creates pressure to keep moving instead of exploring every location without consequence.
Successfully completing the ritual in time allows the world to develop and expand, creating additional areas to explore. Failure or death can cost progress, making each attempt a balance between searching for useful discoveries and reaching the objective quickly enough.
