About This Game:
ARMA Tactics brings the military theme of the ARMA series into a turn-based tactical format centered on a small special-forces squad. Instead of directly controlling a soldier in real time, players command several operatives across compact combat maps while completing missions against hostile forces.
The slower structure emphasizes positioning, lines of sight, weapon range, and teamwork. Every operative can perform several actions during a turn, making it important to decide whether to move aggressively, remain behind cover, or prepare for enemies approaching from another direction.
How the Gameplay Works
Players select individual soldiers and spend available action points on movement, attacks, and other tactical actions. Cover helps reduce exposure to enemy fire, while positioning squad members where they can support one another improves the chances of surviving difficult encounters.
Objectives can involve eliminating hostile forces, reaching locations, or completing other military tasks. Equipment and squad capabilities can be developed between missions, while later scenarios introduce stronger opposition that requires more careful use of the available team.
