About This Game:
CHUCHEL is a comedy adventure from Amanita Design about a strange hairy creature named Chuchel and his ongoing struggle to recover a precious cherry. Chuchel’s rival Kekel repeatedly becomes involved, turning what should be a simple search into a chain of bizarre situations, visual jokes, and unexpected challenges.
The game uses colorful hand-drawn animation and almost entirely visual comedy rather than a complicated storyline. Individual scenes often function like miniature interactive cartoons where experimentation produces humorous reactions from the characters and environment.
How the Gameplay Works
Players click objects and characters to trigger actions and work out the sequence needed to solve each scene. Some challenges resemble traditional adventure puzzles, while others become short arcade-style activities with entirely different mechanics.
There is little punishment for experimenting with the wrong object because failed ideas frequently produce jokes or animations of their own. Progress continues through a collection of compact scenarios as Chuchel and Kekel repeatedly chase the missing cherry.
