Sweet Transit is a city-building and logistics game where trains form the backbone of an expanding settlement. Players develop towns, connect industries, move workers and goods, and design railway networks that must remain efficient as population and production grow.
The game combines colony development with transport planning. A successful city depends on reliable train routes because homes, farms, factories, and mines can be spread across different parts of the map.
How the Gameplay Works
Players place housing, roads, industrial buildings, stations, signals, and rail lines while balancing resources and worker access. Trains carry passengers and cargo between districts, and poor signaling can create traffic or deadlocks.
Technology progression unlocks stronger locomotives, new industries, and more advanced city options. As the network expands, players need to redesign routes, separate passenger and freight traffic, and create junctions that can handle increased demand without bringing the entire economy to a halt. A large part of the progression comes from learning how train-centered city building works alongside railway signals and junctions and passenger and freight transport. Those features support one another during normal play, while production chains becomes increasingly important as the difficulty rises. This gives later sections more depth than simply increasing enemy health or asking the player to repeat identical objectives.
