About This Game:
Terraformers is a turn-based strategy game about establishing settlements on Mars and gradually transforming the planet into a more habitable world. Players explore unexplored regions, gather resources, construct cities, and develop large projects while keeping the growing population supportive of the mission.
Every campaign creates a different arrangement of resources and locations across Mars. Leaders also provide changing abilities, forcing players to adapt their plans while balancing immediate colony needs against the much longer process of planetary transformation.
How the Gameplay Works
Players explore new regions and establish cities near useful resource deposits before constructing buildings that provide food, power, research, and other benefits. Population support must remain high enough for continued expansion and long-term development.
Terraforming projects can raise temperature, increase oxygen, spread life, and alter planetary conditions over time. Technologies and special projects provide additional strategies, while limited resources encourage careful planning across each turn.
