Warriors of the Nile 2 is a turn-based tactical roguelite that sends a small group of Egyptian-inspired heroes through a succession of dangerous battles. Each warrior fills a different battlefield role, and powerful upgrades can transform ordinary attacks into highly specialized combinations during a run.
The sequel expands the original formula with more characters, branching upgrades, varied battlefields, and additional ways to develop a squad. Runs are short enough to encourage experimentation but become demanding as enemy formations and bosses grow stronger.
How the Gameplay Works
Battles take place on compact grids where heroes move and attack once their actions are available. Positioning is crucial because attack ranges, area effects, obstacles, and enemy movement can turn a small placement mistake into serious damage.
After victories, players choose upgrades and stone tablets that enhance abilities or create new interactions between characters. Developing a focused combination of upgrades is often more effective than simply taking the strongest-looking reward each time.
