Dishonored: Death of the Outsider is a standalone first-person action game set in the Dishonored universe. Billie Lurk reunites with her former mentor Daud and becomes involved in a plan to confront the Outsider, the mysterious supernatural figure whose influence has shaped many of the series’ assassins and major events.
The game keeps the open-ended mission design of Dishonored while giving Billie a different set of powers. Her abilities do not rely on the same mana system as earlier protagonists, and missions are built around infiltration, contracts, alternate routes, hidden information, and optional solutions.
How the Gameplay Works
Billie’s Displace ability marks a location and lets her teleport to it, Foresight separates her viewpoint from her body for scouting and marking, and Semblance allows her to steal another person’s appearance. These powers can be combined with mines, darts, a wristbow, stealth takedowns, and direct sword combat.
Black Market shops provide upgrades and equipment, while Contracts add optional objectives such as thefts or assassinations within the main mission areas. Bone charms modify abilities and equipment, and the campaign allows both violent and non-lethal approaches depending on how the player wants to handle targets.
