About This Game:
HoloSeeker is a deckbuilding roguelite RPG featuring characters and references from hololive production. Players choose a playable talent, build a deck around that character’s individual strengths, and travel across branching adventure maps filled with battles, events, shops, and unpredictable encounters.
Different characters are designed around noticeably different mechanics rather than simply changing their starting statistics. Usada Pekora can generate Carrots to build momentum, Nekomata Okayu emphasizes evasion, Takanashi Kiara can use Phoenix Feathers to return after reaching zero health, and Fuwamoco can accumulate Mischief Stock for expensive but powerful cards.
How the Gameplay Works
Players move from location to location on a branching map and enter turn-based card battles along the way. Cards determine attacks, defenses, special effects, and character-specific strategies. Because each playable talent has a different core mechanic, effective decks can vary considerably depending on who begins the run.
More than 100 cards can be discovered, providing combinations inspired by hololive characters and events. HoloCoins earned during adventures can be spent at shops to add useful cards to the deck. Since events, battles, routes, and rewards change from run to run, players are encouraged to continually adjust their strategy rather than relying on one fixed sequence.
